We'll be absent from Quilt Market this year (hubby is a groomsmen in the wedding of his best friend since 1st grade!) so we hope you'll join us in checking out Amy's always-fabulous online Blogger's Quilt Festival.  Have you entered any of your work?  There are lots of great prizes from lots of great sponsors - us included!  We're always happy to sponsor this fun event, and even if you don't enter, we hope you'll stop by Amy's site and check out all the amazing entries.  It runs from May 13 - May 20, so you still have a little time to prep a last-minute entry if you want!

...spring 2010 blogger's quilt festival...

Hey all you quilters, it's that time again!  Amy over at Amy's Creative Side (formerly Park City Girl) is gearing up for her 3rd Blogger's Quilt Festival.  Haven't heard about it?  Well, simply put, it's a place for all you blogging quilters to show off one of your fabulous quilts.  Just share pictures and the story behind the quilt on your blog and link up to Amy's site.  And not only do you get to show off your mad quilting skills, but every one who joins in gets a chance to win an awesome prize from one of the many fabric shop sponsors.  We're happy to be a sponsor again this go around and we've got a gift card to the shop up for grabs!

Head over to Amy's blog, grab the BQF button for your own blog, write about one of your quilts and link your post to Amy's site.   Posting begins May 21 so you still have a little time to choose your favorite quilt or to finish up something you might be working on now.

Have you checked out the Blogger's Quilt Festival yet?! If you haven't, you should! It ends tomorrow, so if you plan on entering one of your quilts, you better hurry! If you don't know what the Festival is, it's a week-long online festival created and hosted by Amy over at Park City Girl with the purpose of showcasing quilts from all over the country (and world too maybe?). Since International Quilt Market is a trade only show, those of you who actually use the fabric showcased at Market can't attend. So Amy came up with the brilliant idea of hosting an online quilt festival so that anyone and everyone can "attend" and/or submit their own quilts!






See that Quilt Festival button over there to the right? Click it and it will take you directly to the post with all the info. There are links to all the quilts and info about how to enter your own. And did I mention prizes? Well, there are LOTS of prizes! I'm happy to be one of the sponsors and I'm offering a gift certificate to the shop (you can pick out anything you want!). There are lots of great prizes up for grab, so don't be shy about entering! If you don't have any quilts to submit in time, don't worry because Amy is going to host the 3rd Bi-Annual (or something like that!) Blogger's Quilt Festival next Spring. Not a quilter yourself?
