welcoming summer with a giveaway!

There are so many great new lines due out this summer and a few of them have already started coming in.  Gypsy, Nest and Playdate are all in stock and ready for purchase!  Throughout the summer we'll be having several giveaways as we receive new collections.  Our first giveaway is focused on Felicity Miller's Gypsy.  We're offering a free yard of Gypsy fabric (your choice!) to a randomly selected winner.  It's simple to enter - just take a look at the Gypsy prints we offer, come back here and leave a comment telling us which print is your favorite or what you envision making with it.  If I were entering, I would say...

Music in Red is my favorite print out of this collection and I'm thinking about making a folding fireplace screen with it.  (We live in San Diego...we don't use our fireplace, so it's ok to have fabric in front of it :)

Gypsy is a fabulous new line by Felicity Miller for Free Spirit.  Check out this fun story of Felicity's inspiration for and description of the line:

"Gypsy is a tribute to my Romany heritage. My great, great, great Grandmother, Lydia Field, lived in a caravan into her 90s. These designs are a result of my study of caravans and my imaginings of a nomadic life rich with Music, Full Moons and Ups and Downs punctuated with Flowers in fearless colours. Lyrical living is important in any age and so these patterns are for you, the modern Gypsy, on your journey with life… sew away!"
