...happy st. patty's day (sale)!

We're celebrating our Irish roots with a St. Patty's Day sale!  We have some fabulous green fabrics from Joel Dewberry's Deer Valley collection that just scream Spring (and luck of the Irish!) and we've marked them down to $6.50/yd for TODAY ONLY!  That's $1.25 off per yard!!

We had to enjoy our Patty's Day dinner a day early this year due to a prior engagement tonight, but it was still amazing!  I modified a new Beef and Guinness Stew recipe...and it's the best stew I've made yet.  Plus a new Colcannon recipe where I used kale instead of regular cabbage and of course, I made soda bread - yum!  A very hearty meal that took 4 hours to prepare and only 15 minutes to eat! 

It may not be "pretty" food, but it was good!

What do you do to celebrate the day?  Are you actually Irish, or just pretend to be one for the day?! ;)  I must say I'm proud of my Irish heritage and have always loved that even those who aren't Irish enjoy celebrating this day too!

Alright everyone...here's the third and final installment of the Joel Dewberry Deer Valley series. The last palette I'll be giving you a closer look at is the Persimmon palette. Here you'll find colors such as Sky, Persimmon and Peony. So from that I'm sure you can guess that the feature colors in this palette are blue and red! The colors and designs complement each other so well. See for yourself...

Oh my goodness...I can't believe I let 5 days go by since my last post before writing about my FAVORITE palette out of Joel Dewberry's new Deer Valley Collection. The Azure palette has a beautiful blend of grays, deep reds and well, azure. I am a blue girl...I own lots of blue clothes, I have blue walls in my house and I even have a blue truck. So, of course, when I took a look at this particular palette, I fell in love with it. So here's a look at my fabric choices for this palette (it was hard not to order the whole colorway!):

Since there are sooo many fabrics in his new line, I selected a few from each color palette to carry. In this first post, I'll show you my Tarragon palette choices. Hope you like them!
