...in the shop now...hooty hoot kangaroo by doohikey designs for riley blake...

Hooty Hoot was another line we previewed a few weeks ago and we feel it deserves its own separate post too.  Doohikey Designs has created the perfect line for your little guy who loves animals!  This adorable collection has a modern feel to it - the animals aren't cartoony and the designs are simple (as in not overdone!) - plus the colors are fantastic and the coordinating prints are varied.  Check out these adorable prints up close!

We put together a group of prints from the blue and cream colorways, but other common colors running throughout the whole collection are green and brown, making this one of those collections where each print really does coordinate with any other print in the line.

Plus, there's a fabulous panel (complete with a row of labels!) and an adorable free quilt pattern from Doohikey Designs.  We have a few of the project sheets or you can download a PDF version from Riley Blake's website.  We plan on making a kit available soon, but if you can't wait, let us know and we'll help you put one together!

Happy Friday everyone!  We've been anxious to start this sale for a couple weeks now, so here it is...all in-stock Meadowsweet prints are only $6.99/yd through 9/17!  That means the entire Meadowsweet 2 collection is on sale, plus we still have 11 prints left from the original line (although quantities are low on some of them!) so that's a total of 25 prints + bundles on sale!  One of those bundles includes 1/2 yard cut of each print in the Meadowsweet 2 collection - a great way to get a sampling of all 14 prints!

We love this new line from Tina Givens!  As most of us know, the owl is the "it" animal in the fabric world these days and Tina does a great job with her version of the mysterious creature.  The collection is based on Opal Owl and her story.  She has her very own house in the Magical Forest where she lives with other woodland creatures.  We'd like to think the slightly worried expression on her face is from watching over all her forest friends while perched high up in her tree.  Take a look at these adorable prints:
