welcoming summer with a giveaway!

There are so many great new lines due out this summer and a few of them have already started coming in.  Gypsy, Nest and Playdate are all in stock and ready for purchase!  Throughout the summer we'll be having several giveaways as we receive new collections.  Our first giveaway is focused on Felicity Miller's Gypsy.  We're offering a free yard of Gypsy fabric (your choice!) to a randomly selected winner.  It's simple to enter - just take a look at the Gypsy prints we offer, come back here and leave a comment telling us which print is your favorite or what you envision making with it.  If I were entering, I would say...

Music in Red is my favorite print out of this collection and I'm thinking about making a folding fireplace screen with it.  (We live in San Diego...we don't use our fireplace, so it's ok to have fabric in front of it :)

And for an extra entry, anyone who purchases any Gypsy fabric from our shop by the deadline can leave an additional comment - just tell us what you bought and what your plans are for it!  You have until midnight (PST) Tuesday 6/8 to enter and the winner will be announced on Wednesday, so keep an eye out! Open to everyone...yes, that includes you international folks too!

Good luck!!

  4. Music in Red is my favourite too. I think it would look amazing as the lining of a purse or tote bag, popping against a bluish outer fabric!

  11. Up and Down in Sky is a terrific large scale print...I might try to center a big chunk and then add a few borders to make a cute , easy quilt to hang over my daughter's desk chair.

  13. I love them all, but I would choose Music in Brown. I'd probably pair it with a neutral canvas and make a large tote bag out of it.

  19. I really love the Full Moon! I would make a sheath summer dress for those romatic summer evenings and a walk along the beach. If I win, with a yard of Full Moon I'll make a summer top and send you a picture.

  23. It was very hard to choose just one as they are amazing, but I choose Full Moon in Sky. I would make one of my fabric greeting cards with paper quilled butterflys nestled amongst the vibrant flowers. The moon just in the background would be perfect.
