...on sale now...butler, horner, dewberry, mod kid

Hey everyone! With so many great fabric lines coming out in the next couple months, I have to make room on the shelves for them by having a sale! And that means even more savings for you! The sale section in the shop has just been loaded with a variety of fabrics including:

  • Amy Butler Daisy Chain
  • Amy Butler Midwest Modern I & II
  • Amy Butler Nigella
  • Joel Dewberry discontinued prints
  • Mod Kid Patterns
  • Anna Maria Horner Good Folks

There are just a few remaining prints left from Nigella, Midwest Modern and Good Folks, so get them while they're still available. And the few discontinued Joel Dewberry prints I have remaining, I'll admit, are kind of random, but there's nothing wrong with that, right? And check out the Mod Kid Patterns...they ship free with any fabric purchase (that's already a savings of at least $2.25!) so why not pick out some fabric to make those patterns with!

Stay tuned to Twitter and/or keep your eye on the blog because we've got some great fabrics heading this way...Tula Pink's new Hushabye line, Patricia Bravo's next line called Girly Girl, and some great Moda pre-cuts and patterns!

Hope to see you in the shop!

...sale reminder...amy butler daisy chain

Things have been busy, busy, busy! There are lots of fabulous new fabrics coming in right now. StudioE's Flourish collection has just arrived in the brown colorway (post on that soon!) and Joel Dewberry's Deer Valley should be delivered any minute now! So excited! I'll be listing lots of fabrics in the next couple days, but some of the new Flourish fabrics have already been listed, so head over the shop now and check them out. I've listed the bundles first so you can see all the fabrics available. If you see a fabric you like in the bundle, but don't see it listed, just contact me and I'll get it listed for you!

Ok, so on to the real reason for this particular post...a reminder that Amy Butler Daisy Chain fabrics are on sale right now! Originally the sale was going to end tomorrow, but I just met with my Westminster/Free Spirit reps today and I need to make room for all the fantastic fabrics that I'll be ordering. So help me out and load up on Daisy Chain! I'm extending the sale through Saturday. And there are still a couple of mystery fabrics listed in the sale section too. Oh, all right, I'll tell you guys...it's a trio of Anna Maria Horner Good Folks fabrics!

...in the shop now...anna maria horner

I love Anna Maria Horner's fabrics. I love the designs and especially the bright, bold colors. Her blog is great and if you haven't checked it out, you should. She writes in a way that brings you right into her world. And by the way, the fabric currently shown in her blog banner is available in my shop. It's called Small Gathering from her Good Folks collection. Here's a picture:

Also available in the shop is Filigree in Plum:

and Cathedral in Peony:

So I ordered these fabrics kind of as a test. I love AMH fabrics and I know other people do too, but I haven't noticed quite the same demand for it as other designers. I wish AMH much success so I hope I'm wrong. So anyway, if you love her fabric, let me know. If there's enough demand, I'd love to carry the whole line.

Ok, so here are a few ideas I have for these fabrics...I like Cathedral for a beach bag, a wallet or a fun skirt for your little girl. Filigree would also make for a cute skirt, but would make an adorable dress (think contrasting/coordinating fabrics at the waist and along the bottom of the skirt). And Small Gathering...not sure about that one...do you have any suggestions? Have you made anything with any of these fabrics? I welcome your comments, ideas, photos...
