...fun fabric friday...floral in brown by studioE

I realize that I haven't been very consistent with my Fun Fabric Friday posts, but I'm going to try to be better about it! It shouldn't be hard considering all the great new fabrics that we'll be stocking over the next few weeks. Today, I'm going to revisit an oldie but goodie. StudioE's Flourish line was a huge hit over the summer. I had to make several re-orders over the course of one week - one of which was made with spotty cell-phone reception on the Oregon coast while on vacation! One of those re-orders was just for this specific print, but I was told it was being reprinted and I could expect to receive it in September. Well, I just got it a couple weeks ago. Better (way) late than never, right?

(r. Petals in Green l. Beads in Brown)

(r. Chain in Turquoise l. Medallion Mono in Orange)

So why is it so fun? Because it's bright, yet grounded by the brown background. It has a wide array of beautiful colors - oranges, greens, aquas. It has fun floral and foliage designs - swirling leaves, dainty branches, pom pom flowers. And it goes perfectly with just about every other print in the Flourish collection, whether by small design elements pulled out to make repeating prints (Chain, Petals, Pom Pom) or just by color (Zig Zag, Medallion Mono, Beads).

And maybe the delay in delivery wasn't so bad because these fabrics are perfect for Fall! So head over to the shop and check out all the available Flourish prints! But hurry, some of the coordinating prints are running low.

See you in the shop!

...back from vacation!

Hey everyone! We're back from our vacation and what a great time we had exploring the Pacific Northwest! I'm now officially in love with Oregon...the coast, the trees, the cute little towns, the cheese. Anyone in need of a vacation should put Seattle, Portland, Mount St. Helens, the giant redwoods and the wine country on your list of possibilities. All are highly recommended!

So now it's back to reality where we've spent the past several days playing catch-up - much of which has been placing orders to recover my dwindling stock (you guys were ordering fools while I was gone - thank you!) In the past week, I have placed three re-orders with StudioE! During our 10 days of vacation, I sold out of several Flourish and Freshaire fabrics. I couldn't re-order fast enough! Within the week, though, I should be fully re-stocked. Well, except for those few fabrics that have either been discontinued or are currently out of stock.

Floral in Brown

For those of you who are curious where StudioE's Floral in Brown from the Flourish line has gone, I'm happy to tell you that it's in its second printing and will be returning to the shop! Just not until late summer. The manufacturer has given September as their best estimate as to when it will ship out. Let's cross our fingers that it gets here sooner - I know how much you all love that print!

t-b: Diagonal in Blue, Floral in Green, Leaf in Brown

While gone, I also sold out of some of StudioE's Freshaire fabrics. I was able to re-order Diagonal in Blue, but unfortunately Floral in Green is gone for good. Freshaire has been discontinued and only a limited quantity remains of certain sku's in that line. And just to let you know, only a few yards of Leaf in Brown remain in the shop, so get it before it's gone forever!

t-b: Paisley in Ice, Sway in Ivory, Peonies in Red, Zag Stripe in Red, Pop Daisy in Red

Upon return, I also had to re-order some Heather Bailey Pop Garden fabrics. This bundle seems to just "fly off the shelf!" Don't you just love it? The bright colors and fun designs make me smile every time!

Stay tuned for my next post about the BRAND NEW Riley Blake Designs line called Ivy Trellis. I have a few fabrics from the line in the shop ready to be sent to a good home. If you love them as much as I know you will, I'll be expanding my inventory of the line.

Thanks again to all of you who ordered during my vacation and waited patiently for me to respond to emails and/or ship out your orders. I appreciate it!!

...in the shop now...StudioE Flourish

Things have been sooo busy around here this past week. I managed to get Deer Valley and Flourish in at the same time...which was around the time of my birthday, my cousin's birthday, a meeting with the Westminster reps, etc. etc. I've been working on getting all the new fabrics listed and even though I'm not quite finished, I wanted to share some pics of the brown colorway of Flourish anyway. I love it even more in person than in the catalog...rich chocolate browns, soft aquas, bright greens, oranges and turquoises. And the shapes! Flowers, circles, zig zags, medallions...you have to check them out...they're in the shop and ready to be oohed and ahhed over!

Don't you love them?!? Head over to the shop now for great prices on this fabulous collection!

...in the shop now...Flourish by StudioE

I stumbled across StudioE Fabrics a couple months ago and a couple of their lines immediately caught my eye. I bought a few fabrics from each of the two lines to see how they would do in the shop. I'm pleased to say that the Flourish line has been well-received. So well, in fact, that I placed another order for the brown colorway. I love this line because all of the fabrics are truly interchangeable. Bold, funky colors and designs make this a really fun line...and it's perfect for those of you who don't necessarily love the pastel blues, pinks and greens. Here's a peek at what's in the shop.

Stay tuned...the brown colorway will be arriving soon!
